Dundas & Wilson Chooses Percussion Software’s Web Content
Management System to Drive Information Management
Leading Scottish commercial law firm, Dundas
& Wilson, has selected Unified Solutions and Percussion
Software’s Web Content Management system, Rhythmyx, to completely
overhaul the current corporate website and radically change the way
content will be managed. Upon completion of the corporate
site, there are further plans to utilise Rhythmyx in the delivery
of the intranet, extranet and micro-site projects.
The content was previously managed and updated
by the marketing department across all of the websites, which
proved to be a time consuming task due to the volume of content to
be updated, however by utilising Rhythmyx, business users
throughout Dundas & Wilson will be empowered to create and
manage content within a controlled environment, giving business
users the flexibility and authority to create and manage content in
line with their specific business requirements.
The project will be controlled by marketing,
ensuring that the business users are enabled to generate the
content they require, according to their level of seniority, while
marketing can be assured that content is being generated in a
controlled manner, ensuring brand consistency. Eventually,
there will be as many as 50 content contributors within Dundas
& Wilson.
Unified Solutions are providing design
services to ensure that the website navigation is optimised for the
main target audiences, as well as providing a fresh look which
fully complies with accessibility guidelines. In addition, Unified
will be using their system integration experience to implement a
range of client-facing services which will be accessed via the
website.
Tom Clowes, Director of Strategic Projects
commented “by utilising Rhythmyx at Dundas & Wilson, our
business community will be empowered to create and manage content
in a timely fashion, which in turn will allow our marketing team to
oversee the content management project, to act in an advisory
capacity and to concentrate on further online projects.”
Rhythmyx will enable Dundas & Wilson to
leverage a range of platforms and infrastructure that can grow and
change independently of its web content management system, by
pushing content changes out to multiple channels without requiring
Rhythmyx code.
Rhythmyx 6 is the newest version of
Percussion's award-winning enterprise-ready WCM System.
Rhythmyx 6 extends the company's leadership position in the WCM
