Final launch for West Sussex County Council

The West Sussex County Council (WSCC) website launch was the first in a series of successful re-design and rebuild projects that Unified Solutions has undertaken in partnership with the Council. Regarded as a great success by the team and the local residents, the new look public facing site offers a more intuitive navigation and an up to date, contemporary design.

Replacing the APLAWS content management system with Alterian CMC, the Council has found it far easier to keep content up to date and, similar to other Unified customers such as East Dunbartonshire Council, it is possible to react far more quickly to local issues such as snow, school closures and travel disruption and get messages out online.

The WSCC Intranet has also been in place for many months alongside a number of micro-sites and a revamped "Your Space" website. The launch of the "Grid for Learning" site officially brings to the end the entire project. This doesn't of course bring our close working relationship to an end and we look forward to supporting the Council moving forward into "business as usual" mode...
