Unified is top of the class at Farnborough

After a thorough competitive tendering process, Farnborough College of Technology selected Unified Solutions to deliver a new web platform. Their current website was established in 2005 with a facelift in 2008 but feedback internally and externally clearly indicated a need to replace the site and the underlying content management system (Episerver).

Unified Solutions worked closely with the College team to identify a new navigation structure that would appeal to the core target audiences and also refreshed the visual identity, modernising the look and feel.

At the tendering stage, a number of issues had been identified and we've worked hard to address all of these points during the design and build.

Technically, this has also been a great joint effort as synchronising the Sitecore CMS with the underlying course database (Capita UNIT-e) provided some interesting challenges. Between us, we overcame these to deliver an excellent course browsing and search feature.
