A website should never be a standalone, isolated channel for online marketing. Even a simple online brochure to promote products and services will, ideally, connect in with the customer relationship management system.

Unfortunately, it is easy to get caught up in the creatives, the visuals and the agency patter that comes with this approach. Whilst we have a proven and very effective way of designing and building intuitive and visually compelling websites, we never forget the main rationale for investing in an online presence. A key part of this rationale and a way to gain significant return on investment is to ensure that the website fully integrates with back office systems.

This isn't easy and we don't try and pretend it is. However, as with many of our other areas of expertise, Unified has learnt the approaches that work when creating links between your online presence and digital channels and the various systems that have, more than likely, evolved over many years.
